About Vonda Lawson-Rosa

Vonda Lawson-Rosa

I have always loved art and horses, most of the time not in that order. I grew up in a creative family so there was always art supplies around to doodle. I studied briefly at UT Austin focusing on graphic design before the age of computers. There I had life drawing classes, drafting classes, art history, etc. When I am not running off to the barn, my fingers itch to paint, draw, capture whatever I see of inspiration. Some of my favorite artist are those who are not afraid of color. This big beautiful ball we live on is full of color expressing itself from the tiniest sparkle in a grain of sand to the magnificent sunsets we are given daily. I try to express in color. Color has emotions and can change the way we feel about...
